
Mostafa Elabyouki is a highly qualified and accomplished Chemical Engineer with a perfect GPA of 4.00. He holds both a Bachelor and Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Khalifa University, one of the top universities in the UAE, and an MBA from Abu Dhabi University. With nearly 6 years of work experience, Mostafa has developed expertise in molecular simulation, new energy development, and strategic business development.
As a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant, Mostafa conducted extensive research on new materials to advance Lithium Air Battery Development, resulting in a published paper as the first author in the Journal of Physical Chemistry C. He then transitioned to ADNOC Refining, where he spearheaded various growth initiatives worth billions of US$, including a new refinery and an aromatics project. During the COVID pandemic, he was given the responsibility to improve the structural cost of the company by discontinuing old assets and finding solutions to better utilize newer assets.
Mostafa's passion for driving industrial development in the UAE led him to join Ta'ziz, Abu Dhabi's new industrial champion, as one of the founding employees. Here he set up the corporate governance for the investment company, which will overlook a portfolio of chemical investments, bringing in foreign direct investment and local investors in the downstream sector. Today, Mostafa is working in the Asset Management Division of Ta'ziz, driving the setup of three joint venture companies between Ta'ziz and international partners, key to taking final investment decisions on projects driven by these companies.
