Over 14 years of experience working as a Material and Corrosion Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry, in a variety of positions with different responsibilities initially within the Quality Control Inspection group / Cathodic Protection / Coating Inspector / Material selection & Corrosion control. Newly joined ADNOC OFFSHORE, FACILITIES INTEGRITY DEPARTMENT. Currently working as the Corrosion Engineer coordinates a Corrosion Management / Engineering”' activities related to Corrosion monitoring and treatment for all Upper Zakum islands located in ADNOC offshore fields. To gather and properly handle the technical data inputs of all the islands (oil producers, gas lift producers, water/gas injectors, observers..etc), analyze problems, recommend investigative and/or corrective measures. To coordinate with the site, technical departments and other concerned personnel on day-to-day basis with respect to ADNOC Offshore Corrosion Management System CMS related activities and assignments. To mentor and coach the developees according to the development plan Materials Engineer knowledgeable of material requirements for multiple manufacturing and product development applications. Extensive knowledge of thermodynamics and environmental effects on materials. Placed environmental concerns as priority during projects.

- Developed and generated Corrosion Management Program and micro plans for Upper Zakum Islands in order to implement the corrosion control plans.
- Trained 9 junior engineers in different disciplines (CP, Painting & insulation inspection, internal chemical treatment), in a short time-frame, they became competent to perform the activities related to each discipline.
- Led many failure investigations that related to asset integrity and identified the RCA, which contributed greatly to the work improvement (e.g amine foaming, sweetening unit repeated blockage, sulphuric acid skid failure, sour gas filters blockage, formic acid skid leaks, steam leaks, utility water unit enhancement, sulfur recovery pump repeated sealing failure, …etc.)
- Have been part of a team that worked in RBI Risk-Based Inspection studies / re-assessment for ZOHR gas plant after 3 years of in-service operations.
- Initiated and developed the corrosion monitoring plans for CP activities, chemical analysis plans & internal corrosion monitoring control, and painting activities in accordance with the national standards and company specs.
- Initiate and developed procedures for the newly formed asset integrity management team (e.g. corrosion coupons & ER probes handling, boilers internal inspection, Cathodic Protection management, painting systems procedures & specifications, reporting numbering system, competency plan ..,&, etc.) in accordance with ENI specs, vendors best practice and international standards, such as NACE, ASME, ASTM, API, ISO, and others.
- Assigned as a technical authority member within the formed team that is responsible for reviewing the delivered Project’s design changes and Operation’s MOCs.
- Improved the efficiency of the CP system at AbuRudies field for Ras-Gara Pipeline (120 km length) after troubleshooting the system problems.
- Upgraded the corrosion monitoring systems that have been used in the plant (integrate/combine system that gives more reliable corrosion rate readings).
- Have been part of a QA/QC team that worked in the construction of AL SHABAB gas turbines, that accomplished at a short time frame (earlier than the planned schedule) in accordance with the standards and specifications laid down by the Company.
- Have been promoted after only 14 months on the quality control job to become the quality control manager for Albasmalla contracting company at the Air Liquid and TCI-SANMAR project.
