Accomplishments

  • Re tendering of contracts of essential services by defining updated SOWs and KPIs to optimize performance and cost.
  • Worked closely with government bodies including Dubai civil defence and Dubai municipality to obtain all standards and requirements.
  • Performed 'Legionella risk assessment' with third party auditor and developed Legionella control policy.
  • Developed 'Disaster management plan' for the property.
  • Implemented several new contracts for upkeep, safety and security of property including External building and floors cleaning, Water treatment for domestic and swimming pools, emergency lighting, boilers and pressure vessels maintenance and testing.
  • Carried out first uplift of property after five years' operation including reviving exterior and interior finishes, floors and hard surfaces, Guest rooms, corridors, meeting rooms and F&B outlets and common facilities.
  • Completed the projects including major changes in grand and spa pool lounge areas, rebranding of spa and soft renovation of one restaurant.
  • Oversaw the entire daily operation of the Engineering Department to ensure that all standards are followed.
  • Outsourced service contracts, prepare SLA and all initial service and maintenance contracts after opening of the Property including BMS, Fire Fighting, and Fire Detection, exterior building cleaning, Emergency lighting, Elevator maintenance, Water treatment, Landscaping, Waste management and grease traps.
  • Redesigned staff accommodation facility to cope up the increased number of staff and giving new concept as organization's vision.
  • Prepared SOP for Maintenance Department and training notes for all sections.
  • Saved energy cost by using new technologies such as LED lighting's, heat pumps for hot water system and swimming pool and VFDs for pumps and air conditioning system which were not designed initially in system.
  • Assist in Preparing repair and maintenance Budget, and CAPEX.
  • Redesign Domestic water booster station by using VFD programs effectively to achieve constant pressure in all guest rooms.
  • Leading the Engineering Team to achieve HACCP certifications and Green Globe.
  • Oversaw landscaping areas as per operational needs of property by utilizing minimum resources.
  • Extended electrical distribution to different area in building to fulfill requirements for new banqueting and catering facilities all project was completed inhouse by utilizing Engineering team and operational cost.
  • Completed all third-party inspections of CCTV, fire and safety system and Elevators by local authority approved parties and updated system as per their requirements.
  • Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) In charge of the operation and monitoring of the following equipment, STP technician, pumps, Control Panel, dosing pump, WAS pump, air blowers and submitting samples for testing on a regular basis to the inspectorate laboratory to ensure everything is functioning properly.
