  • Worked offshore for more than a year as Field Engineer
  • Participating as drilling representative in the Well Delivery Process (WDP). Interacting with asset teams during well planning, execution and post-drill review.
  • Preparing a complete Drilling Program for all the sections of ERD ( Producer & Injector ) wells as well as Disposal Wells.
  • Working closely with other groups to assure the program is based on all available geological, reservoir and drilling information from nearby wells
  • Recommended real-time drilling parameters including BHAs, pump strokes, and pipe rpms, for optimization and blow out prevention.
  • Performing simulations for different parameters like Torque, Drag, Hydraulics, ECD, Surge, Swab, etc.
  • Running anti collision scans during well planning stage and making recommendations
  • Designing drill string, casing & liner in accordance with the SOP and COP
  • Implementing wellhead, casing, cementing & mud programs designed to meet expected conditions and ensure well integrity (with provision of consistent standards and specifications provided by the Technical Support Team).
  • Preparing cased and open hole logs programs and interpreting the results to make sure if the objectives have been met
  • Assisting in bit selection, hydraulics, rotary speed, and bit weight programs.
  • Producing detailed cost estimates, AFE, conducting field tests, building and maintained relationships with contractors and business partners.
  • Preparing and implementing MOCs when required
  • Application of standard operations procedures, best practices and lessons learned.
  • Monitoring daily drilling operations and providing technical support to Drilling Supervisors during critical drilling operations.
  • Daily monitoring of well parameters like ECD, MW, Torque, Drag, Anti Collision, ROP, stick and slip, etc.
  • Monitoring the progress time-depth and cost depth curves for the drilling phase.
  • Trouble shooting operational and technical drilling problems that might be encountered such as lost returns, well control, wellbore stability, stuck pipe, etc.
  • Coordinating material movement to and from site ensuring timely delivery of necessary equipment.
  • Writing Simultaneous drilling/production operations (SIMOPS) procedures.
  • Ensuring that Company HSE policies, procedures, regulations and objectives are effectively implemented as well as participating as requested in HAZOPS, SIMOPS and Risk Assessments.
  • Providing annual drilling equipment and materials technical specifications/quantity requirements as requested.
  • Generating End of Well Reports and other technical reports as well as producing relevant Significant Learning Summary for any major NPT event
  • Liaising with different service Companies for operational purposes when necessary.
  • Working closely with multiple Senior Engineers and Team Lead and was in charge of supervising multiple Engineering Interns as well as new Developees
  • Successfully Coordinated the Demobilizing of equipment from the Islands
  • Monitoring the waste management and CRI Process
  • Analyzing drilling performance and recommending changes in procedures and equipment based on findings.
  • Deciding priorities, bring in new ideas and technology and provide expertise in the function area to achieve required performance standards.
  • Maintaining close liaison with services companies' engineers, and keeping abreast of recent developments in the area of well drilling technology, equipment, practices, etc. Conducting studies on adaptability of such technology to ADNOC Offshore operations and making appropriate recommendations.
