As WEIGHBRIDGE OPERATOR from 16-October,2008 to 30-April 2017 around (09 Years).

Duties & Responsibilities About Weighbridge Operator:


  • Inpection of weighbridge platforms surrouding areas & other correlated equipments before to start the shift duty
  • Report to line supervsor if found any abnormality.


A. Inbound Transactions and entries in SAP


  • Receive and record all data entries & weighment in SAP for inbound warehouse vehicles at Inn weighbridge according to vendor Delivery documents.
  • Ensuring trucks aligned properly on platform before proceeding weighment process.
  • Receive and record data Entries in SAP for inbound containers/trucks of Raw & refractory materials an Inn weighbridge according to packing lists.
  • Recording of gross weighment by conforming Radiation scanning done for inbounbd scrap trucks and contrainers at Inn weighbridge.
  • Reveiw the reports in SAP to ensure all entries and weights are accurate.
  • Recording of 2nd/tare weighment of all inbound trucks in SAP after offloading materials in dedicated areas.


B. Outbound Transactions and entries in SAP


  • Ensuring trucks aligned properly on platform before proceeding weighment process.
  • Recording of tare weighment for all outbound trucks in SAP after loading orer issuance.
  • Recording of gross weighment after outbound trucks loading from respective plants,check with approved QC tolerance chart before proceed Delivery creation process.
  • Review and verify generated Delivery documents,MTC ,Tax Invoices and Exit pass through SAP.
  • Stamped all documents before releasing truck to exit from out weighbridge.
  • Review SAP related reports for data accuracy.


B. Outbound Transactions and entries in SAP


  • Recording of Internal trucks Gross/tare weighment in SAP for scrap,wastes and byproducts materials.


C. Communications :


  • IT Team via IT self service desk app and phone if case of any Desktop and network related issues
  • SAP Team for in/poutbound trasaction via mail/verbally for In/Outbound SAP trsansactions related errors.
  • Sales/Finance for encountered errors related to SO and others related.
  • RM-MH for loaded materials related errors
  • QC Team for prime materials tolerance errors encountered at Weighbridges.
  • CES Team for power interruption and Weighing system related issues
  • FSD for cleaning & other relarted services.


D. Safety& Housekeeping :

  • All hazards reported in My Sheq
  • Working Safely according to approved Work instruction from themanagement.
  • Keeping goodhousekeepinng in the working area.

· Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise

· Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times

· Create the delivery notes and MTC’s in SAP Operating System.

· Ensure Waste Acceptance Criteria is adhered to at all times

· Meeting and greeting both internal and external clients, contractors and visitors to the site

· Efficiently input data onto the weighbridge from vehicles collecting/delivering to the site

· To answer all incoming calls and deal with appropriately

· To carry out the production of set management information systems

· Scanning, filing, emailing documents to customers

· To undertake other weighbridge/administration duties the site manage may reasonably expect

· Raising of purchase orders including adding documents and recording received goods/services

· Resolving all invoice/purchase order queries for the site.

· Ensuring all weighbridge/customer queries are resolved and actioned


Currently since 5 years working as a Senior to Deal with Day to day weighbridges Operational Activities as highlighted below.


1. WB Platforms Weekly Inspection & Maintenance.
  • Follow up for Parodic Service & Calibration of all Weighbridges.
  • Monthly cross verification of all weighbridges for accuracy and authenticity of trucks weighing process.
  • Weighbridge Equipments & office routine weekly inspection & reporting if found any abnormality.
  • Follow up for corrective offices maintenance upon management approval .
  • Prepare Scope of Works/PR's for any maintenance jobs and follow up rest of the procedural.
  • Prepare WO for weighbridges inspection & mehanical maintenacne/overhaully periodically.
  • Arrange any type of spares from WH by issuing pick ticket/WO if required.
2. Prepare & Review Monthly reports of all Weighbridges Operation .

• In/Outbound & Internal Report.
• Review Monthly Sales, Purchase & Scrap Shifting Report.
• WB Trucks Wise Report.
• WB SAP KPIs Report.
• TAT Weekly/Monthly report for In/Outbound trucks.

3. WB performance improvement.

• Manpower Rotation (Weighbridge Rota)
• Weighbridge SAP Process Improvement
• Identify & Eliminate of unnecessary Workload


4. Ensure Smooth Flow of In/Outbound & Inter shifting Trucks Movement

• Manage In/Out Traffic Movements.
• Weighbridge Wise Distribution of Trucks to control Traffic nad smooth flow of operational process.

5. Comply with HSE policy, Zero safety violation, Zero incidents.
  • Reports all safety Hazard Observation in My Sheq.
  • Observation report.
  • Issue PTW for any Job.
  • Prepare review HSE Documents (JSA/JMS) for any activity.
  • Maintain HSE Safety Departmental Register.
