- Develop and implement efficient warehouse strategies and processes to optimize inventory management, storage, and distribution of goods in a trading and manufacturing company
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, picking, packing, and shipping of products, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to quality standards
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to prevent inventory shrinkage or surplus
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure an adequate supply of materials and products for seamless operations
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or other software to track and monitor inventory levels, movements, and order fulfillment, providing accurate and up-to-date information for decision-making
- Lead and motivate warehouse staff, fostering a positive work culture, conducting performance evaluations, and providing coaching and training to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction in warehouse operations
- Implement and enforce proper safety protocols, including training employees on equipment operation, handling hazardous materials, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, such as order fill rate, on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and labor productivity, and implement strategies to achieve or exceed targets.
