Inhouse Studies

  • Pre-Feasibility inhouse study for new LNG train in Das Island, Ruwais, Fujairah. Scope includes: defining capacity of refrigeration unit, compression and driver sizes, power demand, AGRU and MSU size, storage and utilities – along with pros and cos for each site/location.
  • Contributed in inhouse studies which result in production optimizations, such as:
  • Increase production of LNG from 180 tons/hr to 190 tons/hr from both LNG Trains 1&2.
  • Increase throughput of wet gas through TEG Glycol units of IGD facilities by 10%.
  • Increase throughput of fuel gas through IGD Fuel Gas Treatment Units by 17%.
  • Developed initiatives/ideas to boost LPG production.
  • Development of thermodynamic model to predict LNG quality at arriving terminals, by estimating voyage length, LNG vessel volume, ambient temperature variations, etc.
