Crude Receiving Facilities Project (CRF) Feb 2022 – Jan 2024:
The scope of project was to install all the required facilities to enable Jebel Dhana terminal to receive offshore crude and enhance the terminal facilities to become a bi-directional flow terminal. The Scope was also to install receiving facilities in AR premises for AON including Meter Banks, Auto Samplers and all associated Control and Safety systems
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Supervise a PMC team to manage the project during the Construction phase.
· Ensure smooth execution of all the Tie-ins with the existing facilities with minimum Shut Down periods.
· Co-ordinate with all project stakeholders to ensure successful Pre-commissioning and commissioning of the facilities
· Vendors management during commissioning and performance tests
· Ensure full HSE supervision of site activities and achieving 0 LTI with 7 million manhours.
Salt Domes Exploration (Leaching Facility) at Jebel Dhanna Area Dec 2023 – present:
The scope of the project is to construct all the required facilities to allow the creation of 2 underground caverns to store hydrocarbon with all associated facilities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Supervising the completion of all the Early Civil works to allow for the drilling rigs to be mobilized to the site.
. Acting as assistant project manager during the engineering and procurement phases of the project
. Expediting the submission of early project deliverables to enable a head start of the project.
. The supervision of early engineering and procurement progress to ensure early placement of LLI items
. Managing the PMT in the Engineering sessions e.g. Design review, HAZOP, Model reviews... etc.
. Managing the PMT to ensure an effective review cycle from COMPANY side is implemented.
. Coordinated with local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals, ensuring legal compliance across all project phases.
. Tracking the Procurement and Engineering progress and intervening when there is delay detected in the critical path activities.
Ensured effective and safe decision-making through the management of technical challenges and FEED discrepancies.
