• Treasury Functions- Accounting and Validating of Cash, Cheque and Credit card inflows on a daily basis for UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain Entities.
• VAT Return Calculation and Filing for all the FedEx and TNT Entities, i.e., for UAE and Bahrain.
• Working Continuously in Change of Process in the current Treasury Functions to bring business in line with standards which benefits the Company with faster accounting of the Cash inflows; Customer Satisfaction; Reduction in cost in terms of transportation, Paper, Storage of Hard copies and Man-hours.
• Process Specialization for the COD System from Manual process to System Automated Processes which reduced the time taken to reconcile and pay the Merchants.
• Actively listened to COD customers, handled concerns quickly and escalated major issues to Managers and Departments involved.
• Supervising the COD Function to ensure the reconciliations and payments are made on a timely basis.
• Review of Pay Cycle for Vendor Payments and Employee Expenses.
• General Ledger and GSP Reconciliations on a Monthly Basis.
• Preparation of Monthly Reports for Management and Review of Contracts.
• Preparing the IFRS 16 Lease Schedules for respective Entities on a monthly basis for the Accounting of the Lease Entries.
• Evaluation and re-calculation of the Leases Calculations for the respective Entities from US GAAP to IFRS for the purpose of the Audit.
• Working closely with the External Auditors for the completion of Statutory Audit & ICV Audits.
• Continuous calls and meetings with different departments for coordination and collaborations of ideas for achieving the Company Goals such as reducing operating costs and enhancing customer experiences, i.e, with the Operations department, P&E Department and Finance Departments.
• Working on Special Projects and tasks- as and when requested/ required by the Team.
• Accounting Soft wares used- Oracle Cloud and many other soft wares for various other functionalities

• Audit and Assurance services (External and Internal Audit, VAT Services and Accounting services, Leading engagement teams through planning of the audit which includes identifying audit risks, establishing audit objectives and developing audit programs, including preparation of time estimates and detailed work schedules.
• Reviewing and assisting the team members with the audit program and work carried out.
• Preparation of final audit deliverables such as the Audit Report with the Financial Statements, the covering letter to the Board of Directors, the Management Letter, Representation letter, etc.
• Review financial statements and analyze sales revenues, costs, expenses to identify reasons for variations.
• Assess key risk facing the business and ensure adequate procedures are implemented by management to mitigate these risks.
• Assignments include External Audit, Owners Association Audits, Internal Audit as well as Accounting Services.
• VAT implementation – Evaluating the operations and financials of the Business and preparing the VAT impact assessment and gap analysis for companies in the VAT implementation activity.
• It includes business structuring and tax planning.
• VAT Compliance & VAT Audits: Preparation of the VAT calculation, reviewing the Books of accounts and preparing VAT reconciliation, not limiting to sample or detail checking of supporting documents in order to test the accuracy of the details provided, drafting VAT management letter, and drafting VAT return.
• VAT Refunds – Preparing VAT refund schedules as per the FTA requirement.
