Safety, Compliance & Quality
- Ensure 100% adherence to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company standards across warehouse and logistics operations.
- Implement and monitor Safety SOPs, conduct regular toolbox talks, and drive a zero-incident culture.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments, audits, and corrective action plans to maintain safe working environments.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE, MHE (Material Handling Equipment) and enforce compliance at all operational levels.
Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, and material flow to improve efficiency and reduce handling time.
- Ensure accurate inventory management through cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Manage and resolve issues related to stock accuracy, slow-moving items, damages, and discrepancies.
WMS & SAP Operations
- Manage and ensure accurate data entry and process flow within WMS and SAP systems for receipts, transfers, inventory, and dispatch.
- Coordinated cross-departmental collaboration for improved workflow.
- Monitor system-driven KPIs such as order accuracy, cycle time, and warehouse productivity.
- Lead system improvements, configuration needs, and coordinate with IT/SAP teams for process enhancements.
- Train team members on WMS/SAP best practices to maintain operational discipline and data integrity.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead a team of 20 personnel including staff, operators, and delivery personnel to achieve daily operational targets.
- Plan manpower allocation, shift schedules, and responsibilities for optimal productivity.
- Evaluate team performance, identify skill gaps, and drive training & development programs.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Logistics & Distribution Management
- Oversee dispatch planning, route optimization, and delivery management to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.
- Coordinate with transporters, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth inbound and outbound operations.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance for transport, delivery tracking, and customer requirements.
- Report operational performance to the Head of Supply Chain, ensuring transparency and timely updates.
- Streamlined communication channels, enhanced internal information flow.
Reporting & KPI Management
- Track, analyze, and present key KPIs such as:
- On-time delivery (OTD)
- Order fulfillment accuracy
- Inventory accuracy
- Warehouse productivity
- Cost per transaction / logistics cost
- Identify gaps and implement improvement plans to achieve management targets and service level goals.
Continuous Improvement & Cost Control
- Drive 5S activity to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in warehouse and logistics operations.
- Lead automation, digital solutions, and process optimization initiatives using WMS/SAP capabilities.
