Key Account Manager

As a Key Account Manager, I play a vital role in managing and nurturing relationships with key business partners. My day to day main responsibilities include:

- Partnership Management:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key vendors. Acting as main POC for any talabat related topic in order to grow the business with cross functional collaboration: from marketing to operations, customer support and finance.

- Business development:

I have been able to support brands by grow 15%+ year on year, working closely with key vendors on long terms strategic planning by deep diving on business on quarterly basis. As well as identifying opportunities to expand the business, promoting new features, services, or product offerings that align with their needs.
- Market knowledge:

Working closely with vendors to drive growth and maximize revenue opportunities for both platform and client.
Developing account strategies tailored to each vendor's business goals, some of the vendors under my portfolio include Wingstop, Subway, Yolk brands, Eathos group etc.

Account Manager

(Feb 2021- Feb 2023)

As an Account Manager, my responsibilities involved:

  • Advise and provide partners with business and marketing strategies to grow their brands while increasing profitability. I also managed their operations, marketing, menu health checks and worked as a consultant on how to optimize menus and activate the right promo campaigns for each vendor.
  • While managing over 150 vendors under my portfolio, i was able to build strong partnerships between vendors and talabat. Monthly monitoring business, i was able to grow vendors month on month by 10% some of the brands under my portfolio were Shakespeare, Aseer time, Papa Murphy etc

Taking over extra projects outside of my AM's role:

  • Analysing competitors platforms and identifying their strength and weakness
  • Ops improvement on a weekly basis for top key accounts brands/ Key insights for top brands (vendor delay, hourly vendor delay, fail orders reasons, top 10 areas with high net fail rate)
  • Marketing initiatives: in app and out of home. Main focus being customer acquisition and redemption

Zomato is an Indian made multinational restaurant aggregator and food delivery company founded in 2008.

As a well established company in Doha, I was involved in the launch of Zomato Gold (a saving program that gives access to clients to exclusive offers) my role as an Account Manager involved:

  • Acquiring and engaging the right set of clients.
  • Managing end-to- end clients relationship including pitching, negotiations, establishing a timeline of business performance, invoicing and training of the staff on how to use the program.
  • Also result tracking and troubleshooting, while ensuring monitor on a monthly basis, vendor's sales, revenue, conversion, sessions and marketing reports.

As part of Zomato Gold's team we were able to sign over +300 restaurants before the launch of the program across Qatar

Just Us n Otto is an independent media communication and marketing agency in Qatar with a global outreach.

As a Junior events coordinator, my scoop of work involved controlling and handling of the events from conception to clean up.

  • Client Communication: Acting as a liaison between the client and the events team. Assisting in the logistics of event planning, including booking venues, coordinating vendors, managing timelines. As well as creating event's schedules and agendas for all the staff working at each event
  • Working closely with vendors: caterers, decorators, audio-visual teams, etc and activations done on time ensuring all aspects are covered from A to Z
  • During events I was responsible for overseeing on-site operations, managing staff and handling last-minute issues with clients and guests.

Some of the events I was part of were:

- Qatar National Day for Doha Festival City

- Kahraman Exhibition for Katara

- Sports Day for Qatar Gas

- Teddy Medical Activation at Doha Festival City

  • As an account coordinator I played a key supporting role in ensuring that events/ tours/ outdoor activities were executed smoothly.
  • The support of my position included: Booking venues, coordinating guests, managing timelines, as well as organizing transportation.
  • I also helped with the creation of event schedules and agendas and on site support.
