OPERATIONS & ADMINISTRATIVE
Ensures that the outlet is efficiently managed according to the established concept statement providing a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following the set Standards of Performance.
Has a full working knowledge and capability to manage, correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks in the assigned Place of to the standard set.
Assigns responsibilities to subordinates implementing Multi-Tasking principle and to check their performance periodically.
Trains, maintains and enforces TIME Hotels Service Standards.
Maintains a safe and sanitary work environment for all team members and guests.
Implements a flexible scheduling based on business requirements.
Ensures that the par stocks for all operating equipment and supplies are strictly adhered to and that the outlet is adequately equipped.
Ensures implementation of all proper tools for running shifts (i.e. schedules, floor plans, reservations list.
Conducts daily pre-shift briefings to employees on preparation, service and menus.
Finds solutions for challenges such as call outs, last minute bookings, or any other daily problems that may arise.
Ensures that all staff is knowledgeable of all food and beverage items in the menu and having the ability to suggest, recommend and up-sell alternatives
Monitors the floor during entire meal period and ensure smooth operation and adequate coverage.
Ensures that the F&B outlets are kept clean and organized, both at the front as well as the back of house.
Liaises and organizes with Housekeeping Department that the established cleaning schedules are strictly adhered to.
Coordinates all Repair and Maintenance issue and maintenance job orders to ensure the proper maintenance of the F&B outlets.
With the hotel training manager, identify training needs and develop and deliver the required training for department employees to meet the needs of the business.
Supports the training of Departmental Trainers to continue to improve hotel service levels, and implement a daily departmental training program.
Trains managers and supervisors in effective “coaching and counseling” and the correct process of progressive discipline.
Responsible for maintaining outlet safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Responsible for asset management of all outlet property and facilities, and to conduct a regular preventative maintenance inspection.
Promotes positive inter-departmental relations through candid communication and cooperation
Works closely with the Banqueting department to support all requested functions.

Maintains a loss ratio, which according to the agreed total value of the budgeted operating equipment issued to the outlet.
Achieves departmental budget goals by maintaining profits through increased sales revenue and the efficient cost expenditure.
Responsible for all accounting and billing procedures in the outlets.
Works with hotel management to develop & execute plans and actions for the marketing of the outlet.
To be aware of all TIME Hotels Guest Incentive programs, and actively promote and support these.
Ensures the efficient scheduling of F&B team members in the outlets, and to be responsible for the accurate supervision of the staff time control system.
