- Maintain & improve good conception rate by Conducting effective observation for heat signs.
- Contribute to the successful breeding program by facilitating artificial insemination processes and hormonal therapy synchronization.
- Making sure general and postpartum health status of the cow during P.N.C ( post- natal check).
- Assist in vaccination scheduling and administration.
- Accurately record daily heat detection, reproductive issues (metritis,retain fetal membrane) and treatment.
- Decrease culling rate due to infertility by ensuring proper procedure & technique is employed while handling repeat breeder cows.
- Pregnancy diagnosis (through rectal palpation at day 100 post-breeding).
- Taking blood sample from fresh herd and pregnant cows at 180 post breeding.
- Administered medications as needed to maintain optimal fertility of herd throughout their reproductive cycles.
- Ensured optimal herd performance through diligent observation of animal behavior patterns, identifying signs of illness or injury early on for prompt treatment.
- Upheld biosecurity measures particularly in order to maintain disease-free status and protect the herd from potential threats.
