  • JSSK is a scheme implemented by the central government of India for the welfare of Mother and Newborn, which provides free antenatal Diagnostics, Medicines, free Institutional delivery and c-section along with Newborn care.
  • Volunteer in this activity requires participation in primary care, women's preventative care, prenatal care by active clinic duties once a week for at least 3 weeks a month.

Rural Health Training Centre

  • RHTC is located at a remote health care area, requiring volunteers to care for the underprivileged and those with inaccessibility to proper and adequate health care.
  • Volunteers take history and complete physical exam, formulate a differential list, and propose treatment plan to practitioners.
  • Organize fundraising events to improve the medical facilities in the RHTC.

Cataract Screening Campaign

  • Screening nearby village personnel for cataract and offering free cataract surgeries under the Netra Jyothi Abhiyan campaign by National program for control of blindness and visual impairment.
  • Requires travelling to villages and announcing about the ongoing campaign, urging the villagers to meet at the village community Centre where eye checkup is done and sometimes door to door eye checkup if required.
