  • Heavily involved in product safety evaluation along with preparing PSERs.
  • Specialized in risk assessment of chemicals used in formulations, CMR & Non-CMR components and fragrance allergens for fabric & surface case products. Product format spread across liquid, powders, trigger sprays, wipes, etc.
  • Active experience for EU, CLP and UN GHS regions in depicting product label language.
  • involved in home use test (HUT) and Central Lab Test (CLT) for pre-launch product initial assessments (IA) for the products.

The Government (UGC) aided project aimed for the development of herbal therapeutics based on single or polyherbal extracts from high altitude plants (Hippophae rhamnoides) specifically that may combat oxidative stress involved in neurological disorders.

  • Managed Bioengineering project focused on investigating differentially expressed molecules responsible for axon guidance in chick model system.
  • Also analyzed the expression pattern of such guidance molecules is conserved between the avian and mammalian systems (mouse)
  • Finally we achieved the project result as identification and documentation of guidance molecules in chicken. It was also concluded that further research is required to assess if guidance molecules are evolutionary conserved in the mammals.

Defence Research & Development Establishment (DRDE) is India's best research institute and governed by Ministry of Defense under the umbrella of DRDO. Sole purpose of DRDE is to perform R&D on defense against hazardous chemical and biological agents. Lab also extensively researches in the fields of synthetic and analytical chemistry, protective devices, process technology development, pharmacology and toxicology, microbiology, entomology, biochemistry, biotechnology, virology, electron microscopy.


Completed Ph.D under Dr. S.J.S. Flora with title Combined toxicity of inorganic lead and ethyl alcohol.


Work in my Ph.D. at DRDE included the interaction of two xenobiotics in rats. It also assess on preventive and therapeutic strategies that can be adopted during lead and ethanol co-exposure.


I was also engaged in the toxicity evaluation of two coded drugs supplied by Central Council for Research in Ayurveda and Siddha (CCRAS, New Delhi).
