Duty Roaster and Attendance:
- Preparing and maintains security team duty roaster and updating their daily attendance.
Patrol and Monitoring:
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter security breaches.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and other security systems for suspicious activity.
- Investigate disturbances and alarms, taking appropriate action as necessary.
Access Control:
- Control access to premises by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Issue and manage visitor passes,contractor access cards, or access codes as required.
- Enforce access control procedures to prevent unauthorized entry or trespassing.
Emergency Response:
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security breaches.
- Implement emergency response procedures, such as evacuations or lockdowns, as directed.
- Provide first aid or assistance to individuals in distress until medical professionals arrive.
Incident Reporting and Documentation:
- Document all security incidents, accidents, or disturbances in detailed reports.
- Maintain accurate records of patrols, inspections, and other security activities.
- Collect evidence and information for investigations into security breaches or violations.
Customer Service:
- Provide assistance and information to employees, visitors, and the public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Address inquiries, complaints, or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Act as a point of contact for security-related issues or emergencies.
Safety and Security Procedures:
- Enforce security policies, procedures, and regulations established by the organization.
- Conduct security assessments and risk evaluations to identify vulnerabilities.
- Recommend improvements to security measures and protocols to enhance safety.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Coordinate with other security personnel or emergency services as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and stakeholders to share information and coordinate activities.
- Participate in team meetings, briefings, or training sessions to stay informed and aligned with organizational goals.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Inspect and maintain security equipment, such as surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
- Report any malfunctions or deficiencies in security equipment for repair or replacement.
- Ensure that all security tools and resources are in good working condition.
Training and Development:
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in security.
- Provide security awareness training to employees and promote a culture of safety and vigilance.
Maintaining Confidentiality:
- Ensure to maintain confidentially all the security related documents like entry of the visitors and contractors.
- Make sure that all the collected data is only share with Line manager approval with concerned department.
Internal and External Audit Participation:
- On yearly basis participating in the security internal audit and external audit to ensure that on going security procedure and given instruction and local and international system are properly implemented by the security team.
Security team performance:
- Monitoring security performance on weekly basis and preparing monthly report and submitting to the line manager.
