  • Provided care and comfort to the members of the United States Armed Forces and their families stationed at Aviano Air Base.
  • Provided support to military families during deployments and emergencies. Provided pre-deployment and post-deployment briefs, partnered with Military Family Readiness Center (MFRC) to provide monthly deployed dinners for family members.
  • Conducted crucial emergency communication messages for AD, families, federal civilians and DOD employees ensuring emergency verifications and notifications were completed expeditiously allowing for members to return home to loved ones in difficult times.
  • Recognized gaps and created new programs to meet the needs of the military community and their families. Programs included implementing the Animal Visitation Program at the library, a program designed to encourage children to read to dogs in a non-judgemental environment, fostering growth and confidence. Created Pre-School Arts and Crafts for children aged 2-5 years, an underserved demographic, this program has experienced significant growth since May 2023.
  • Oversaw 150+ Volunteers in 10 different programs successfully. Each program significantly improved annually and contributed to the station exceeding goals consistently. Stepped up to bridge gaps where volunteers were unable to lead ensuring zero lapses in programs provided to the community.
  • Instrumental in the achievement (exceeding) of annual goals for the European Division for 3 years running.
  • Built strong relationships with external partners to secure resources and support necessary for program success. This was paramount to the success of the American Red Cross at Aviano Air Base. Collaborated with MFRC, DECA, AAFES, Base Library, Base Veterinary Clinic, 31st MDG, SAPR, EO, and DODEA Schools.
