• Ensures that Flight Dispatchers are fully accountable for the dispatch reliability on flights and aircrafts when preparing flight plans.
• Supervises and liaise with Air Traffic Control [ATC] over generating and filing of flight plans.
• Ensures that proper coordination is maintained with internal and external agencies regarding flight operations, responding to and making inquiries on matters affecting Air Arabia flight operations, providing assistance as required.
• Coordinates with all concerned and executes the plan over the initiation, continuation, diversion or termination of flights, taking into account the safety, punctuality and cost effectiveness of Company operations.
• Prioritizes and designates on shift basis the work load in order to ensure conducive work environment for an error free and safe dispatching of flights and operational control.
• Continuously monitors the progress of all Company systems using all available means, e.g. telephone, fax, Cesar, VHF radio, Stockholm Radio, LIDO FP, ACARS, etc. to ensure all systems provide the services as required without any interruptions.
• Analyses post-flight documents and Captains reports and obtains debriefings from flight crew to enhance dispatch reliability in order to provide a safe and error free flight planning service.
• Supervises the performance of flight Dispatchers and in consultation with dispatch Manager to identify areas for improvement and deficiencies in order to provide training and development to enhance the productivity of staff.
• Obtains over flight, landing, and other permissions for schedule and non-schedule flights in a timely manner with proper records are maintained.
• In the event of an aircraft emergency, ensures Dispatch procedures are adhered as outlined in the Emergency Response Plan.
• Plan & executes the aircraft rotation in consultation and considering engineering, commercial & ground operations requirements.
• In consultation and coordination with dispatch Manager and other operational areas arrive at cost effective, operationally viable commercially favorable disruption plan during flight disruptions.
• Ensure a list of contact details and airport reference details are available for all station and validate periodically.
• Disseminate information regarding new operational developments relevant to the daily operation.
• Provide Flight watch for all flights by coordinating with relevant Ground Handling agencies and disseminate delay information as required.
• Constantly monitor ACARS timings and updates in Cesar in order to ensure accurate timings are always available for ABY operation.
• Plan and publish the daily aircraft rotation and changes whenever applicable.
• Publish and disseminate the delay/disruption, Accident and Incident information as appropriate.
• Monitor and Update Journey log entries whenever there are discrepancies or gaps noted in order to update the Flight Dispatch system.
• Liaise with external entities relevant to operations control.
• Disseminating information regarding new developments in daily operations.
• Maintaining and validating airport reference information and liaise with airport services.
• Review the services provided by external service providers and report to Dispatch Manager when conditions of service level agreements are not met.
• Check and update the Journey logs.
• Ensure that all assigned Emergency Response procedures have been adequately followed and that associated Flight

• Performing Operational Flight Watch and for determining if changes to operational and meteorological conditions may affect the safety of flights within a prescribed area or on assigned routes, and for communicating those changes to the Pilot-in-Command.
