Role

• Monitor and ensure that all Health & Safety and Environmental legislation is complied with at all times and ensure a safe working environment for all workers
• Prepare and submit Hazard Identification Plan and Job Safety Analysis prior to the startup of the project
• Preparing JSA and Risk assessments
• Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation
• Responsible for the implementation of Health safety & environment policies of the company
• Monitoring and Controlling the Permit to work system
• Monitor lifting activities to ensure compliance with the lifting plan
• Conduct Safety orientation for all new employees before starting work on site
• Conduct Safety training for workforce on weekly base on different topics
• Ensure working practices are safe and comply with legislation
• Maintain the certifications of the personnel executing, rigging, scaffolding, entry attendants, equipment operators etc.
• Maintain required record keeping system and provide adequate documentation on occupational monitoring activities
• Conducting work permit audit, evaluating the risk suggesting control measures
• Maintain the MSDS of various chemicals in use and advise the associated work force regarding the handling and storage
• Attend the client driven HSE meetings and deliver presentations on various safety subjects
• Plan and organize emergency response plan and evacuation drills at work site
• Conduct regular inspections of Fire Protection Equipment to assure its proper placement and operational reliability
• Prepare and submit accident/incident investigations report and produce statistics for managers
