Coordinate with various operations section and collect and collate productivity data of MSK vessels, investigate with the section if productivity is lower than the target and ensure the relevant information supporting the delays are captured from them in the prescribed format before sharing it with the Top Management.

To monitor discharge, loading and receiving, delivery activities and assign container handling equipment for planned container movements in the terminal to achieve optimal equipment utilization, minimize unproductive moves, safety & discipline, while adhering to port policies and procedures.

Guide loading and the discharging containers in real time in a clear & concise manner to ensure efficient delivery of port services.

Implement all strategies outlined by real time control supervisor and ensure all his instructions are clearly carried out as per policy and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.

Enhance trucking routes to optimize delivery routes and minimize waiting periods for consignments entering and exiting operations facilities.

Plan and prepare for anticipated congestion within the terminal operation facility, modify load and discharge sequence and implement real time control supervisor’s plan of action in minimizing any operational barriers that may occur.

Monitor idle time for all operational equipment and ensure idle time does not exceed prescribed allotment by generating reports at intervals to ensure operations efficiency and cost reductions.

v Allocate required equipment and switchers tom quay cranes to ensure unconstrained loading/discharging operations, conduct feasibility study to ensure rubber tire gantry strategy eliminates any unproductivity.

Based on the manifest received from the port loading master / authorities – organize and prepare for container loading / unloading & discharge and load for various destinations.

Keep a proper count on containers incoming and outgoing and maintain a log sheet.

Prepare Operator Forms and giving information to the Operator.

Arranging the loading bay by calling transshipment and MT yard.
