Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end road freight operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Plan and coordinate domestic & GCC cross-border transportation.
- Manage fleet operations, ensuring proper vehicle allocation and scheduling.
- Monitor real-time tracking of shipments to prevent delays and optimize routes.
Team & Vendor Coordination
- Supervise and support drivers, dispatchers, and logistics coordinators.
- Maintain strong relationships with transport providers, third-party carriers, and warehouses.
- Ensure SLA compliance with transport vendors for service quality and efficiency.
Route & Cost Optimization
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies to optimize fuel, tolls, and driver wages.
- Utilize TMS (Transport Management Systems) and GPS tracking for route planning.
- Analyze key performance metrics to improve delivery efficiency and reduce costs.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to UAE/GCC transport regulations, RTA rules, and customs clearance procedures.
- Oversee proper documentation, including delivery notes, permits, and customs declarations.
- Ensure HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) compliance for fleet operations.
Customer Service & Issue Resolution
- Address client inquiries, complaints, and escalations related to deliveries.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction.
- Implement contingency plans for delays, breakdowns, and unexpected issues.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Track KPIs (On-time delivery, Cost per trip, Fuel efficiency, etc.) and prepare reports for management.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
