JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
•Responsible for the construction site safely implementation of HSE plan on brownfield area or live plant.
•Monitor the work permit system and ensure all requirements on the permit checklist are being followed prior to the start of work.
•Conducted safety induction training to all new hired employees and subcontractors before assigning them to any work.
•Coordination between the client and the contractor keeping in view all the safety aspects highlighted in the company safety policy.
•Ensure that toolbox talks are being conducted daily by the supervisors to the team.
•Ensure that gas testing is being carried out periodically (i.e once in 2hrs for confined spaces where work is being carried out).
•Conducted regular inspections and testing of all firefighting equipments , Electrical tools , Scaffoldings platforms etc.
•Prepare incident accident and near miss investigation reports.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

•Participate in planning meetings to identify any health and safety concerns inherent in the operation’s daily work plan.
•Review the incident action plan for safety implications.
•Exercise emergency authority to prevent or stop unsafe acts.

• Inspected worksites, practices and gear for compliance with established safety standards.
• Checked written JSAs and permits for adherence to regulations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Recognized, documented and advised on removal of hazards.
• Verified monthly practice of fire drills for every work shift.
• Developed safety training procedures and authored manuals for distribution to staff members.
• Identified and eliminated potential safety code deficits and addressed adequacy of fire exits, stairways, aisle spaces and sprinkler systems through annual inspections.
• Inspected facilities for adherence to fire, hazard and safety guidelines.
