• Deliver patient-centered care in a 501- bed hospital with 1:4 patient ratios.
• Perform physical examination of admission patients, vital sign monitoring, insertion of IV cannula, collection of blood samples, ECG interpretation and reporting of critical lab values.
• Maintain exceptional records and communicate effectively with doctors.
• Perform Acute and chronic patient care and assessments.

• Manage patient pain and administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Advise patients and care givers of proper wound management, discharge plan objectives, safe medication use and disease management.
• Execute oral care, tracheal suctioning, repositioning,Ngt and Peg feeding ,ngt and peg care and chest physiotherapy for critically ill patients.
• Attend multi-disciplinary rounds.
• Monitor critical patient’s safety utilizing validated assessment tools such as continues infusions, patency of intravenous lines.
• Initiate actions to reduce or correct risk in respond to emergent data visualized on assessment tools and clinical observation.
• Perform therapeutic nursing care interventions for patients with neuro surgical and neurological injuries, including stroke, brain hemorrhage, trauma and tumors.
• Inform treating team of subtle changes indicative of derangement of cerebral hemodynamics, intervening appropriately.
• Monitor post-op vitals, set up PCA, fluids, review post-op orders of patients.
• Evaluate and adjust life support equipment, tubing and peripheral devices providing critical assistance to fragile patients.
• Maintain infection control logs, streamlined charting process and improve patient out comes through training and leadership.
• Administer IV push, oral, subcutaneous, IV infusion, intra-muscular medications and blood transfusion.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and communicate with physicians and other health care professionals.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while adapting to new environments and work conditions.
