v Pre-commissioning, Commissioning & Startup

· Reporting to the Senior Engineer, Instrument SI / Construction Manager in pursuance of assigned job.

· Responsible to Witness Pre-commissioning & Commissioning activities for all the control systems like DCS, ESD, PLC & FGS on behalf of the client .

· Preparation of the Procedure for the Instrumentation Loop test, DCS & ESD Functional & Logic tests, Instrument & control system tie-in procedures in running plants.

· Lead the Loop Test & Function test of plant emergence safety shutdown system(ESD & HIPPS), Package equipments such as Heater, Compressor, Turbines (Steam & Gas), Boiler, Incinerator etc by following project safety philosophy, Vendor Documents, Start-up sequence chart, Control narrative and Cause & effect.

· Lead the Loop test, Function test & Commissioning of Fire Detection system & Fire Protection.

· Lead the Instrumentation and control/Safety system Tie-in activity with existing refinery related to new projects.

· Preparation of Work Method statement and Risk Assessment of all Instrumentation & Control/Safety system Tie-In Activity.

· Lead the SAT (Site acceptance test) for various Control/Safety system (DCS, ESD, FAS, MMS, HIPPS etc..) with Clients.

· Prepare Work Method statement & Risk assessment for Control/Safety system modification activity (Hardware & Software) in existing control /Safety system (Online modification).

· Lead the existing Control system modification (Hardware & Software) to include the new project scope in existing system (Online modification & shutdown)

· Lead the Control Room Construction activities such as Cabinet installation, Cable Laying, Cable Termination, Vendor Activities (System Cable connection, Network Cable connections, FO patch code connection).
