Accomplishments

  • Proposed Precast Option instead of the conventional Concrete/ Masonry super structure works to mitigate the delays in various Damac Master Community Development for Town Houses due to Main Contractors lack of resources with Material and Manpower.
  • Proposed and implemented Precast Boundary walls for Town Houses and Stand-Alone Villas Clusters, effectively reducing project duration and thus commercially adapted.
  • Lead a team of 3 engineers for a factory visit in Beijing, China (J&H Glass Factory) to evaluate the supplier capacity, quality compliance and commitment to follow complicated project schedule (Khalidiya Shining Tower-Abu Dhabi) and continued the visit alone and made sure successful completion of scope & Project by Vendor.
  • Proposed Lightweight Concrete panels instead of normal block and plaster at Emaar Boulevard Heights-Dubai to save time, increase productivity and to add revenue for project and was successful to save approximately 3 million AED as overall.
  • Being a Technical engineer with great exposure to R.C.C detailing steel rebar supplier's shop drawings were thoroughly reviewed and revised to avoid unnecessary lapping's and use of couplers and thus saving around 10-15% on rebar Consumption.
  • Managed to negotiate and withhold a V.O claim of AED 1.5 million from GRC Subcontractor for a proposed change in finish (Plain coloured finish to Acid wash finish) -Emaar Boulevard Heights.
  • Anticipated the impact of Covid by end of 2019 affecting international procurement/ shipping/ logistics and successfully proposed local equivalent materials for DT1, EBH and D1D2 projects in Dubai which proved highly effective and remarkable later.
  • Due to Subcontractor's Internal conflict and issues important package and major scope got stuck and with due diligence and prompt involvement, implemented a 3-course action to engage alternate parties to engage in scope which saved scope and project as an overall for not being on hold.
