The Facilities Engineer is responsible for overall inspection of proprieties and ensuring that buildings and facilities are maintained safely and effectively, thereby, ensuring reliability and safety of Companies' building facilities

Responsibilities:

• Consulted with customers regarding improved efficiency and cost minimization (Services Providers Proposals)
• Maintained and monitored on-demand work order control systems
• Upheld health safety and government regulations in all work operations
• Regular maintenance checks on facility buildings and outbuildings
• Organized and updated tracking and data systems
• Assisted in overhaul of MEP equipment
• Monitor and inspect complete buildings facilities to ensure compliance in line with the company standards, including Civil & MEP Works and Other Related items
• Developed and implemented preventative maintenance programs
• Establish building inspection timeframe and update the Facilities manager on the inspection schedules
• Prepare and maintain a detailed building inspection checklist of each building services and assets area
• Prepare and provide detailed inspection reports to the Facilities Manager
• Informs the facilities Manager of concerns involving the quality of building facilities and the possibility of required special maintenance or repairs for the buildings
• Follow up on the maintenance progress of the detailed inspection reports
• Verify & follow up and remind the contract renews for AMC such as Water Tank Cleaning, fire protection systems, chillers, and Lifts, etc.…
• Performs other relevant duties as & when it arises.

Electro-mechanical building works

Plumbing works:

• Design and layout engineering drawings, including calculating the water domestic within the Plumbing specialty
• Assists in the review of shop drawing submittals as requested and posts modifications as needed
• Provides project information to staff and clients as requested through attendance at project meetings, e-mail, correspondence, etc.…
• Assists in developing and maintaining Plumbing project schedules and budgets and maintaining project work plans and monitors team progress
• Worked to maintain outstanding attendance record, consistently arriving to work ready to start immediately.

Electrical Works:

• Check drawings and cost estimates received from the consultants or Project Heads and see their conformity with Authority Departments
• Track work progress concerning the work schedule
• Discuss technical aspects of the electrical system with consultants Coordinate with Project heads/engineers at the site regarding services works
• Site visit attendance with Client and Consultant if any
• Check the quality and progress of the work if required
• Firefighting and Fire alarm works:
• Management and coordination of the fire suppression system
• Execution of works as per the shop drawings for firefighting and fire alarm systems
• Follow up of shop drawings, liaison with client, local authorities, contractor and sub-contractors, coordination with other services, participation in meetings, planning, checking material submittals, site inspections
• And the government department for the Submission and approvals issues

HVAC Works:

• The Reader of Shop drawings and execution
• Coordination between the HVAC System Works and other Services
• Managing a detailed design prepared by a sub-contractor
• Testing and commissioning

Fit Out works:

• Coordination with Civil and MEP Works as: (Gypsum Works, Painting, False ceiling, still works……etc
• All kinds of government permits (Building Permit from Municipality, police security department, ADDC (electricity and water Distributions Company), Etisalat Etc.…...)

OPERATION & MAINTENANCE BUILDING ACTIVITIES:

• Conduct physical condition, checks on plans, machinery, and equipment
• (Water Network, Pumping Stations, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems, Fire Protection System
• Responsible for job scheduling and personnel assignments
• Prepares and submits regular and periodic reports
• Responsible for the issuance of work orders for planned and emergency repairs
• Operation and Maintenance hand-on activities
• Organize and supervise engineering projects and onsite installations
• Analyzing and designing a new way for the pipe system

• Job Description:
• Doing Project Supervision and Project implementation
• Doing coordinating with Subcontractors with all disciplines of the project including MEP works
• Carry out actual Inspection at the site, sign-off, and submit for approval
• Coordinate with a consultant in carrying out the required test
• Coordinate subcontractor's work for effective implementation of the quality control plan
• Shop Drawing and detailing of MEP WORKS
• Attend meetings for technical and coordination meetings
• Knowledge of Invented drainage and water supply systems
• Preparing as-built drawing and revised contract drawing using AutoCAD software.

• Directly report to Production Manager for the production status that all schedules are met

• Troubleshot equipment breakdowns and performed preventive maintenance.
• Trained junior maintenance professionals on correct repair and cleaning procedures.
• Followed work orders and specifications for machine and equipment replacement, repair or maintenance.
• Adjusted machine settings to maximize performance and equipment longevity.
• Completed partial or full dismantling of equipment to quickly repair or replace defective components and restore functionality.
