Management and Supervisor responsibilities at House of Parliament – British cultural heritage and historic premises, including one of the most iconic towers Big Ben (Elizabeth Tower). Management of 17 buildings with zero tolerance for failure or errors. We covered essential systems of Dalkia and House of Parliament – Electrical (UPS, CBS and Generator), Mechanical, AC and HVAC, Refrigerator and Water Hygiene.
Team Leadership. Recruit, train and manage large number of engineers which includes electrical, mechanical, AC, Catering, Water Hygiene Engineers and external company subcontractors to ensure high quality service delivery. Monitor the output, cost and quality of work of staff and take remedial action where appropriate. Responsible for motivation and welfare of staff.
PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance). Monthly average of 6,000 PPM tasks need to be carried out and meet specific guidelines; identified defects to be raised, client to be notified and the issue to be fixed.
Budgeting and Cost Control. Responsible for budget management. Manage multi million project budgets to ensure profitability is maximised. Track expenses and control operational costs.
Strategic planning. Develop maintenance procedures and strategies to transition from reactive to more proactive maintenance approaches.
Compliance and Health Safety. Ensure strict adherence to health and safety; regulatory requirements within 17 buildings of UK House of Parliament.
Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers to ensure efficient project completion.
Client Management. Manage client, to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve any issues in a professional and efficient manner. Ensure client expectations are sought and effectively managed. Organise and manage meetings with the clients. Ensure client is fully aware of the current financial situation of tasks and uplifts are requested as required. Report to senior management on weekly/monthly basis on proposals and any potential issues concerning the business.
