  • Update ASN’s on arrival of the containers to GSL with the Bin Locations, Movable Units and quantity received. On completion of update send a Stock Receipt Confirmation to the Customer, which will detail any shortages / excess or damage to the stock received.
  • Create Shipment Orders as per the instructions of the Customer. Key in information relating to Products and price accurately. Liaise with the Customer and Administration to establish the Customs Paperwork required (Certificate of Origin, Export/Import Bills, Transfer of Ownership’s) and any other special documentation needed by the consignee.
  • Coordinate dispatch of orders liaising with Operations, Shipping and Freight Forwarders (if required by the Principal). Ensure that the method of transportation is booked for the required dispatch dates and all cargo details are passed to the relevant people (Freight forwarders, Shipping and Operations).
  • On dispatch of consignments mail a copy of GSL Invoice and a Stock Issue Confirmation to the Customer detailing all stock issued, Drivers Name and Truck Number.
  • Provide to the Customer a Stock Report as determined by the Service Standard agreed.
  • Resolution of Customer queries with regard to Shipping Information, Shipments dispatched, and Containers received. Investigating answers to general queries regarding the Logistics function.
  • Arrange and participate in regular proactive meetings with the Customer to ensure all day to day activities are noted and met. Preparing an Action List from all meeting and publish to the GSL team.
