• Ensure quality control with meticulous inspection of completed work, addressing any criticality promptly.
• Delegated team assignments, review work and set schedules to maintain optimal coverage of all mechanical needs.

Worked as Mechanical engineer with successfully execution of below mentioned activities.

• Receiving of ship tender and or ship repair specifications and sort all mechanical jobs found and prepare work order or progress sheets accordingly and allocate estimated man-hours Raising POR for all the jobs, which are beyond the yard workforce and follow up from time to time.
• Physical identifications onboard and markings of all mechanical works to be done on the newly arrive vessel for repair as per specification together with ship staff, mechanical foreman. Clarifications of job scope on the spot verbal and finalize immediate by using standard forms for works variations and takes owner approval for quotations if required.
• Updating of work order or progress sheets as per physical identification for all mechanical works, on which jobs was cancel by the owner and to be done by yard and or to be given to subcontractor requisitions(POR) thru DIS yard intranet system as per specifications.
• Ensure that the job assigned to the Department are completed in a manner that is in accordance to the job and safety requirement.
• Monitor progress of work and report to the section manager, on matters requiring line manager attention, including the daily department meeting.
• Respond to customer complaints and take corrective and preventive actions on error of staff, subcontractors and suppliers as per the requirements.
• Writing work completion reports on each mechanical works & mentioned all works done from overhauling, materials supplied, and materials manufactured.
• Work completion report document, submit directly to the concerned Estimation Engineer, with copy to project manager and Department line managers.
• During my tenure I have gained extensive expertise in various aspects of ship machinery repair such as windlass/winch overhauling,Various valves centrifugal pumps, main engine overhauling, auxiliary engine overhauling, rudder propeller and shafting works,deck cranes, bow thruster overhauling, steering gear ram seals renewal, heaters & condensers overhauling, main engine air cooler ,Turbocharger overhauling, and plate cooler chemical cleaning.
