  • #1. Design of container modules for the project “Containerised substation” and “water treatment plant” for the Zakum Development Company (ZADCO). The design has been performed in the software STAAD Pro. Using AISC and BS standards and ZADCO technical codes Client: Ali & Sons End User: Zakum Development Company (ZADCO), ADNOC;
  • #2. Design of three storied accommodation block with helideck on top, for the project “Yinson Genesis” for Chalmers. The design has been performed in the software package SACS. The total steel weight of the structure is about 400MT. Inplace, lifting and sea transportation analyses were performed Client: Chalmers, Yinson Genesis End User: ENI Ghana;
  • #3. Global hull strength analysis for “National Drilling Company” (NDC) Rigs Delma & Beynouna, as part of increasing the drilling capacity of their derricks, global hull strength analysis for the rigs have been performed for the rigs for global loads. The analysis have been performed by modelling the complete hull in FEMAP software Client: ADNOC (NDC), UAE;
  • #4. Design of a helideck structure on the tanker Belema Sweet for the client M/s Ajivin Offshore. The design has been performed in the software package SACS.
  • #5. Design of sea fastening members for the transportation of jackets and other structures for Clients such as Al Jaber, Esprit Korea, CCTC and TOTAL. The seafastening design consists of design of grillage beams, truss members and cables for lashing. The full design calculations has been done by hand calculation and by the FE software FEMAP;
  • #6. Sea Transportation Analysis of Turret Modules: LPLT (2000MT) and UPLT (1400MT) Client: Bluewater Energy Services, Netherlands;
  • #7. Sea Transportation Analysis of Jackets for East Anglia Wind Farm. Client: Lamprell Energy;
  • #8. Hand calculation of joint connections for jacket structure for ADMA.
  • #9. Design of crane foundations using various codes such as BV Rules, RINA Rules, API Rules etc.

  • Received appreciation letter from Qatar Petroleum Development for optimising the renewals for legs for the project: Reassessment of PDP and LQP platforms;
  • Received appreciation letter from Bluewater Energy Services, to efficiently accomplishing the sea transportation project of LPLT and UPLT modules in limited time due to sudden change in transportation barge. The project has been finished with MWS approval at first submittal;
  • Adopted Random Wave Analysis method, to calculate the DAF value for wave loads on self-elevating units;
  • Developed calculation sheets for impact analysis using plastic analysis method;
  • Developed various in-house spreadsheets in MathCAD, SMath and Excel to standardise the structural calculations.
