Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-operative : ensure the patient is prepared mentally and physically for surgery.

• Surgical Instrumentation: Prepare and manage complex instruments and equipment, for all specialty .

• Assisting Surgeons: Provide direct assistance to surgeons during procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

• Collaborative Care: Work closely with surgical teams and other medical professionals to coordinate patient post-surgery care.

• Supply Management: Gather and organize all necessary consumable and equipment for surgical procedures.

• Circulating Nurse Duties: Conduct sign-in, timeout, and sign-out procedures, document crucial information, and assist the scrub nurse with instrument and equipment preparation.

• Assessed care provided during perioperative phases to determine protocols.
• Prepared operating room for specific surgery requirements.
• Controlled risk of infection by assisting with maintaining sterile field.
• Prevented theatre disruptions by stocking supplies and equipment in line with surgical needs.
• Dealt with emergencies with calm and composure.
