DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reception of the patient
- Assessment of the patient and triaging depends on patient condition
- IV Canulation in order to initiate and meet emergencies
- Administer Medications and treatment as prescribed by the doctor
- Adult Immunization as per protocol
- Operate medical equipment such as oxygen cylinder, nebulizer, and suction apparatus
- ECG Monitoring and report immediately to doctor if any changes occur
- Initiates CPR when there is a sudden cessation of heart beat or respiration
- Assisting for Endotracheal Intubation
- Defibrillation in emergency situation as per protocol
- Collaborate with other health care members in the team to provide excellence care to the patient
- Monitor, document, report symptoms and changes in patient condition to doctor and charge nurse
- Inventory checking to make sure supply things to render proper care
- Proper Storage and handling of high alert, controlled and narcotics medications as per policies
- Crash cart maintenance to meet emergencies like cardiac arrest, ventricular fibrillation
- Maintain Records and Reports as per policies and protocol
- Maintains the confidentiality of the patient’s clinical records
- Active participation in Hand hygiene KPI
- Attend the in-service education time to time
- Admission, Discharge, Referral patient as per need, and so on
