Handling settlement of medical claims from major hospitals including SEHA and DHA, Rehabilitation centers, Medical equipment stores, Home care and long term care all over UAE and settlement of claims from abroad for GHQ.

• Ensure the claim submissions are as per the submission procedure by GHQ and charges are as per the price list provided.
• Co ordinate with the doctors to verify the charges as per the available medical reports decide the eligibility of payment.
• Creation of new vendor master record,Existing vendor master data modification to reflect revised details and terms.
• Ensuring monthly reconciliation of major accounts payable general ledgers. Providing operational support to the accounts payable team.
• Preparing accounts payable audit schedule, obtaining vendor confirmations.
• Commercial interpretation of the terms of contracts and evaluation of its financial implication and highlighting management in identifying cost reduction opportunities.
• Analyzing actual payments in comparison to projected payments.
• Recommending operating procedure improvements aimed at reduction of risk and strengthening internal controls.
• Processing international medical reimbursements.
• Negotiating with vendors for better credit terms, discounts and dispute settlement.

• Finalizing inpatient invoices and ensuring all the charges have been entered before discharge notification.
• Daily report on unbilled charges
• preparation of monthly statement of accounts other than medical insurance companies like Emirates Airlines, GHQ Armed Forces, Rulers offices, Kuwait Embassy and consulates and follow up for payment.
• Pricing for new services, price increase calculations, special pricing of packages and finalizing the cost estimate for surgeries.
• Verification of fees payable to physicians under specific fee sharing agreements and processing of their payments.
• Preparing interim bills for long staying patients.
• Reconciliation of customer accounts.
• Daily revenue report of the clinics
• Sorting out bill related queries to patients.
• independent correspondence.

• Entering invoices, maintenance of Receivables and payable ledgers.
