The specific purpose of this role was to assist in ensuring that college’s strategic and operational plans for taught provision are achieved. While holding this position I’ve provided leadership in maintaining and developing initiatives contributing to the quality of teaching and learning, under the direction of the Vice President.
The role entailed overseeing the Academic Affairs division's documentation, including policies, procedures, meeting minutes, and program-specific documents. This included maintenance of the official College Catalogue, website content related to academic affairs, and collaboration with the Institutional Research and Quality Assurance office. Responsibilities also encompassed developing academic advising schedules, formulating and monitoring its policies, and assessing the efficacy of advising. The position allowed me to assist in accreditation processes, serving on the College’s Academic Board, designing assessment strategies for learning outcomes, and creating teaching timetables across campuses. The role oversaw student examination appeal reviews, transfer of credit applications, and maintaining faculty achievement records. Additionally, the position allowed me to address student issues and to undertake any other tasks assigned by the Dean of Academic Affairs.
During my tenure at the college, I crafted and upheld a strategic vision in line with the institution's mission. I adeptly managed our department's resources, evaluated its progress, and executed comprehensive program reviews to optimize course registrations. Overseeing faculty recruitment, their professional development, and addressing concerns was part of my purview. I championed student recruitment, provided academic guidance, and addressed issues of misconduct. My role also encompassed curriculum scheduling, policy implementation, and inter-departmental communication. Beyond administrative tasks, I steered departmental meetings, contributed to committees, and committed to research and community outreach.

Working in “TRACEBACK” a European Union project from Jan./2009 –Dec./2010. Funded under: FP6-FOOD, and coordinated by: TECNOALIMENTI S.C.P.A. Italy. The project aimed toward developing an innovative food traceability system based on the establishment of objective connections between the product flow and the information flow along the food chain. The project deliverables developed an information management system that fits the existing technologies along with the diverse players of the food chain through the development of a Service-Oriented Architecture model, that provides semantic and service interoperability.
