Projects:
• Client Representative and leading the meetings with major Consultants like Aref Sadeq Design Consultants, Ismail Khoonji Associates, Design House, etc. and Contractors. Responsible for the overall management of tendering process including scope of works, drawings, addendums and execution of different works in the project especially the Provisional sum and Prime Cost Items.
• Supervision of the construction, refurbishment and maintenance works involved in the project by ensuring the quality and safety standards are followed. Coordinating with Consultants, in house departments and Contractors at site and monitoring the Contractor’s works and progress at site and report to the management.
• Procurement of competitive quotations, material samples from sub-contractors/ suppliers and evaluating them with respect to the tender documents and reporting to the management and getting client approvals. Evaluating the works as per schedule and reporting the delays to Management. Checking the quality in the construction activities to the satisfaction of the client with respect to the standards set out in the tender documents. Preparation of monthly progress reports, weekly minutes of meetings.
• Checking the approvals given by the Consultant for the Contractor’s submission of Shop Drawings and Material Approvals is as per Clients interest/approval. Quantity Surveying, checking and certifying the interim and final valuations and variations with proper back up documents submitted by the contractor. Checking all the final documents As built drawings, O&M, Guarantees, etc. for project completion certificate.
