• Conduct inspection of all ongoing activities for Electrical and ELV installations.
• Conduct inspections for all Electrical material deliveries and assure that the materials being installed conform to the specification.
• Attending all site walks and Electrical inspections with client/contractor representatives.
• Prepare method statements in coordination with QA/QC Engineers and Project Engineers.
• Check the drawings and documents used at the site with approvals and compliance with project requirements.
• Ensure that all work is carried out as per the approved method statements and drawings.
• Preparation of testing and commissioning method statements in coordination with vendors.
• Coordinate with the design team and the client’s representatives to resolve any issues identified during the design and construction process.
• Reviewing the coordination between mechanical and Electrical contractors during installation on site.
• Index and file on receipt all drawings and relevant correspondence.
• Scheduling of snagging items and defects at practical completion and end of defects liability period.
• Maintain a work log, take photographs, file reports, and act on inspection findings.
• Provide technical assistance and resolution when Electrical or Engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after construction.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems.
• Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.
• Evaluate Engineering proposals, shop drawings, and design comments and conformance with established safety and design criteria and recommend approval or disapproval.
• Review inspection reports and records of Quality Control carried out on completed and running Project activities.
• At all times carrying our responsibilities/duties with due regard to the policy of the work.
