• Review WPS, PQR, WPQ/WQT, ITPs, drawings, specifications and applicable codes before inspection activities.
• Conduct and coordinate Welder Qualification Tests and maintain qualification records.
• Perform material receiving inspection and verify grade, size, heat number, MTC and traceability.
• Inspect welding consumables, including identification, batch/lot, storage, baking and issue records.
• Conduct piping and structural weld fit-up inspection, including bevel, root gap, alignment, cleanliness and mismatch.
• Monitor welding activities and parameters for compliance with approved WPS and project requirements.
• Perform visual inspection of welds and identify surface defects and discontinuities.
• Verify weld identification, joint numbering, welder identification and complete weld traceability.
• Monitor preheat, interpass temperature and PWHT activities as required.
• Coordinate and witness RT, UT, MT and PT activities and review NDT reports.
• Coordinate weld repair/rework and subsequent inspection and NDT.
• Maintain weld maps, weld registers, welding history and NDT tracking records.
• Inspect piping fabrication, installation and spool assembly activities.
• Verify pipes, fittings, flanges, gaskets, bolts and valves against approved specifications.
• Conduct dimensional, alignment and orientation inspection of piping spools and assemblies.
• Verify flange alignment, gasket installation, bolt tightening and torque requirements.
• Monitor flange integrity and tightening activities as per approved procedures.
• Conduct material identification and preservation inspections.

• Review MTCs, NDT reports, laboratory reports, heat-treatment records and calibration certificates.

• Conduct line walk-downs, prepare punch lists and coordinate closure before testing.
• Perform re-inspection and verify punch-point closure for mechanical completion.
• Witness and coordinate hydrostatic/pneumatic testing and verify test documentation and calibration.
• Witness rupture/burst testing and monitor draining, flushing, drying and reinstatement.
• Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, NDT, Client, Consultant and Third-Party Inspectors.
• Support quality audits, mechanical completion and pre-commissioning activities.
• Prepare final QA/QC records and dossiers while ensuring compliance with project requirements and applicable codes.
