- I mastered punctuality and time management as I had to follow many deadlines for checking homework and exams for about 30 students.
- I learned how to be more cooperative as I had to collaborate with another assistant to help the students to the max.
- I became more responsible as I had to plan my days to fit time for studying for my A levels and assist students and help them solve their doubts whenever needed.
- I gave separate tutoring sessions, both F2F and online, for students that needed extra help out of the class, and I helped them solve their doubts, which improved their academic performance. Sometimes the sessions were one-on-one and sometimes I had to explain for the entire group of 30 students when the teacher couldn't give the class. This helped me know how to interact with other people better and provide them the support they need. Also, it helped me gain more confidence and become braver to have the ability to explain to 30 students, from which I also gained leadership skills.
- I developed a stronger personality as I supervised the students when the teacher gave them breaks. Additionally, I had to communicated with parents as well and give them both feedback about how their child is doing and how they could improve.
- Encouraged students to work together to complete projects and solve problems.
- Not only I had to provide educational support, but I also had to provide emotional support and constructive feedback to some students to help them improve and get the grade they want.
