• Develop cost estimate for WHT, well head tie in, flowlines, gathering station, processing facilities (reception facilities, AGRU, SRU, NGL, CO2, export pipeline)
• Arrange budgetary quotation from approved vendors
• Participate in IPR review and give expert comments if any cost element is missing or cost/rate is not supported with documents as per guidelines
• Participate in CESAR / Decision Support Package (DSP) review for cost estimate
• Find synergy options and cost optimization
• Conducting market research for industry trend, price trend, product price trend.
• Develop various benchmarking along with cost estimate template for quick estimate and circulate in group companies for further use
• Prepare financial planning with Cash flow, capex phasing and Project phasing.
• Support during value engineering session.
• Prepare risk register after session and utilize it for montecarlo simulation.
• Review change order
• Review and give comments for department document/guidelines (i.e. Provisional sum etc)
• Responsible for all class 5,4,3,2,1 of cost estimate as per AACE, from ballpark estimate to execution as per company guidelines
• Ensures accuracy, completeness, transparency, and consistency of cost reports. Mention assumptions and exclusion in cost estimate report
• Prepare a waterfall chart for better explanation of cost variation
• Join the constructability team for better understanding of the constraints and execution plan of project
• Provide support in identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to cost estimating problems
• Establish wage rates based on local government norms and productivity factors based on executed project
• Develop project cost/price (Capital cost, capital expenditure and operating cost) for life cycle of project and work out economics
• Develop cost estimate for all discipline mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil and structural
• Develop Cost Control report with earned value, committed value, forecast price value, cost variance
• Reviews the cost estimates, man-hour budgets, scope changes, and budget
• Aspen cost estimate on requirement basis
