Duties:

• Assist with commercial activities and review Cost Plans and Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
• Assist with budget preparation & cost analysis in liaison with Cost Engineers & Finance
• Complete cost reporting and review in detail against budgets
• Preparation and submission of progress claims and ensuring their timely payment
• Read drawings and specifications and undertake measurement of elements
• Process claims for variations and additional entitlement to time & money
• Undertake valuation of multiple sub-contract packages and prepare applications for payment
• Perform the commercial administration of the sub-contractors and purchase orders including checking and process of payments, remeasurement, variations and application of penalties (L/Ds).
• Performed measurements for structural and architectural works to prepare cost estimates for projects.

• Prepare Analysis sheet of tender requirement, existing resources and its capability and discuss with Superiors
• Review and Analyze, Specifications, Drawings, Bill of Quantity, Proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, accessories, cost and labor estimates for projects following process map
• Verification of Tender BOQ with the issued drawings/document and advise the superior in case of discrepancies
• Perform site visits, record all existing data, prepare site visit reports and implement on the pricing part
• Attend pre-bid meetings, establish various correspondences for clarifications / queries prior to bidding and to maintain sufficient backup for further justification
• BOQ takeoff from the issued detailed drawing/concept drawing in line with the project requirement and Standard method of measurement (SMM)
• Identify the type of works needed from the subcontractors and the proposed subcontractors using enquiry for subcontractor sheet
• Float RFQs from the approved subcontractors & suppliers
• Review subcontractors', suppliers' proposals, conducting negotiations and choose the best subcontractor based on their performance evaluation done by the project
• Discuss Scope of Work, Follow up and coordinating with other disciplines and assisting in compiling of tenders
• Price the project using Microsoft Excel and prepare the final cost calculation sheet and obtain final pricing approval from the Management on time
• Prepare the documents as requested in the Technical submission/the client requirement and obtain approval on time
• Study the variation orders in coordination with the site QS and Cost Control Section with proper arrangement/document.
