Head of Resourcing & Manpower Planning
- I lead resourcing , manpower planning and HR Operations team for Audit function of KPMG Lower Gulf, comprises of 7 business units, 3000+ staff and partners across Dubai , Abudhabi and Oman location. Team size: 7. I guide, manage, oversee and supervise the resource management process for professionals assigned to audit engagements
- Demonstrated a strong tone and culture supporting quality through a commitment to maintain objectivity, professional skepticism, ethics and integrity
- Prepared annual workforce plan for the function. The planning comprises of resourcing gaps, forecasted revenue & utilization, peak period staffing, possible wins, potential loss and last year trends etc.
- Launched resource management policy and guidelines, monitored implementation of policy by setting up key KPIs. This helped the firm to be compliant on ISQM/SOQM Audit quality controls.
- Spearhead portfolio allocation for partner, director and managers across location. Sector preference, regulatory requirements and risk requirements are monitored thru this process.
- Contributed to Improved utilization of the Partners/Directors by 5% and managers group by 10%
- Contributed to the successful achievement of revenue target consecutively for last two fiscal years. Played vital role in maintaining the margins at 45%.
- Reduced impact of resourcing cost by offshoring more 20% of the work tb setting up offshore delivery center.
- Involved in designing and implementation of skill repository, Partner KPI dashboard , leave management and portfolio management tools.
- Worked closely with L&D team to improve the fungibility of the resources thru re-skilling / up-skilling. Collaborated with HR BP to formulate retention strategies and succession planning approach for the practice.
