Managing team of site engineers, Project engineers and supervisors.
Responsible for the day-to-day Planning, Procurement and Construction of all fit out works related to the project, taking into account all aspects of Integration.
Working as per client’s design and also cater to change of design as and when required at clients’ request suiting to site conditions.
Monitor and manage project risk with regard to timescale and stakeholder requirements.
Preparation of project correspondences as required including contractual letters, RFIs & CVIs.
Ensure all MEP and Joinery works meet Specification & approved sample.
Prepare and present status reports. Chair progress and other meetings as needed.
Perform site inspection, man-material management on site, completing job as per drawings, ensure project progress as per set time and budgets maintaining quality.
Inspect sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications, schedule and standards.
Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.
Meet with Client and Main Contractor with regard to performance, program and ultimate design.
Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, program modifications and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel.
Negotiated contracts with Suppliers & labor subcontractors. Mitigated where possible shortfalls on the program deadlines with Clients / Main contractor.
Negotiate and resolve project issues with regard programming and time frame.
Experience in handling turnkey Fit-out projects worth upto AED 75 million value.
Managed a team of 2 Construction Managers, 4 Site Engineers, 1 Planner, 1 Drawing co- coordinator, 4 Cad Operators, 2 Safety officers, 3 Qa / Qc Inspectors and a team of 300+ workers at peak as well as 10-12 Sub-Contractors.
Dealing with daily operational issues (in terms of materials / manpower allocations / daily works sequence)
Dealing with sub-contractors conducting weekly meetings and getting regular progress reports
