Turnaround Coordinator

Plan and coordinate all the arrival /departure activities for Customer Airline at T2/DWC to ensure a safe and on time turnaround of the flights. Liaise closely with Ramp and Customer Services teams to ensure adherence to the SLAs and highlight any potential problems to minimize any impact or disruptions.

Specific to T2 Fly Dubai (FZ handling):

  • Ensure transfer connections on FZ flights are met as per published minimum connecting time by liaising with transfer desks / gates to ensure quick smooth connection of passengers and baggage.
  • Responsible for the resolution of any discrepancy on board the FZ flight that may arise due to duplicate check in, incorrect seating or any other check in/boarding irregularities. In consultation with SDC (Ramp), investigate and finalise any operational delays and ensure accurate delay reports are published to Line departments.
  • Coordinate with the ramp operations team leader (ROTL) to make sure that the quick ramp transfer cargo on FZ flights is offloaded, transported and delivered within the agreed minimum connecting time to avoid any delays.
