• Sitting as a second principal musician, stepping up as required, including performing solos, leading rehearsals
• Supporting Violin 1 section during sectional rehearsals
• Performing in chamber groups when required
• Engaging in general activities of the Orchestra, such as meetings, outreach and learning work, promotional activity

• Performing sectional and group rehearsals, recordings, orchestrations, Media briefings and performances
• Maintaining the high standard of professional playing and musical and artistic excellence
• Developing collaborative relationships with musicians within the Orchestra and supporting professionally all Leaders and Conductors engaged by the Orchestra
• Covering a varied musical repertoire, including classical, ethnic, jazz and contemporary music

• Organising exam support workshops, masterclasses, educational events, concerts and CMA Young Musician Competition (held annually from 2017)
• In charge of costing, administration, creating workshop materials, designing promotional materials, communication
• Contacting locally based and visiting artists and creating collaboration opportunities. Most notable collaborations with BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Proms at Dubai Opera, British Council (UK/UAE 2017 Year of Creative Collaboration), Welsh National Opera, Kempinski Concertini series, Min Yang and Philip Nolte (London Symphony Orchestra)
• Scheduling and supervising department and staff meetings to discuss new ideas and update participants on programme details

• Teaching Violin and Viola from Beginner to Diploma level including music theory, history, technical aspects and interpretation with an individualized approach to meet students' varying needs and interests
• Preparing students for performances, competitions, ABRSM and Trinity exams in a positive and encouraging manner
• Setting up and conducting Camerata - Advanced String Ensemble, String Quartet, Primary String Group. Selecting and arranging music for performances and special events
• Organising instrumental open days, recitals and concerts
• Attended training and community events to broaden expertise and help students, including seminar with ABRSM Chief Examiner John Holmes, workshop with Paul Harris

• Group coaching, enhancing musician capabilities and confidence and improving overall performance standards of Strings section
• Collaborating with Principal Conductor, Course Director and Head of Strings to effectively plan and implement high-calibre productions.
• Utilising abilities in sight-reading and improvisation, aiding efficiency of sectional rehearsals and coaching sessions.
