  • 5. Organizing and managing new employee on-boarding, orientation and training programs. Explaining and providing information to employees, especially new recruits, on employee benefits, programs, and education
  • 6. Updating job descriptions as and when needed.

Ensure that average lead time to recruit employees is less than 30 days.• Getting the approval for the teachers/academic staff from regulatory bodies without any delay. Delays in getting approval from labor dept and stamping the visa by the Immigration Dept will reflect on the performance of the HR Officer.• Similarly, delays in converting visit visa to resident visa and any fines arising from KHDA, Labor Dept and Immigration Dept will be the responsibility of the HR Officer.• Also, when an employee resigns or is terminated by the school, timely cancellation of labor card and visa are the direct responsibility of the HR Officer.• If an employee approaches the courts in Dubai and complaints against the school, it is the responsibility of the HR Officer of the school, to follow that case on behalf of the school, prepare the required documentation, take assistance from corporate legal dept and defend the school in the court. While Corporate Office will provide support, the primary responsibility rests with the school HR Officer.• The HR Officer will oversee staff accommodation provided by the school. He/She must ensure that all the staff quarters are vacated at the time of resignation/termination of employees• The HR Officer is responsible for maintaining all staff contracts, systematically. He/she is the custodian of all employee files and records.• Correct and timely submission of payrolls so there is no delay in disbursement of salary.• Ensuring all documents pertaining to resignation/termination of an employee reach the head office within a week of the same.
