Logistics Agent - Business Development Executive

Responsible for prospecting, lead generation, and fostering strong relationships within the logistics network, will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at generating new inquiries, nurturing leads, and supporting the sales team with competitive freight rates and services.

• Prospecting and Lead Generation: Attending leading network conferences such as WCA, PPL, GLN, CLN, etc., to establish relationships with agents and generate new inquiries and leads.
  Maintain regular follow-up with contacts made at logistics conferences through emails and cold calls, nurturing relationships and identifying business opportunities.
  Shortlist agents for import pricing and develop a network of reliable partners.
  
• Sales Support and Coordination: Provide support to the sales team by offering competitive freight rates and services from around the globe.
  Prepare and deliver quotations to local customers and follow up to secure business opportunities.
  
• Customer Relationship Management: Coordinate import shipments until their arrival at the airport or seaport, ensuring smooth logistics operations and timely delivery.
  Maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  
• Courier Booking and Coordination:Handle courier bookings and coordinate shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  
• Marketing and Promotions:Utilize social media platforms to network, promote services, and engage with potential clients.
  Contribute to marketing strategies and initiatives aimed at enhancing the company's visibility and attracting new business opportunities.
