• Installation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting on ETCS L2 System: Computer based Interlocking (CBI), Train Management System (TMS), Radio Block Centre (RBC), GSM-R, Axle Counter Subsystem, Point Machines: Unistar HR (Type 1 - 5), Eurobalise Programming, System Cabling, Axle Counter Wheel Sensors and ICSS-DS System.
• Installation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting on Asset Protection systems: Acoustic bearing detectors (ABD), Dragging equipment detectors (DED), Hot axle bearing detectors (HABD), RFID, Video monitoring systems (VMS), Weigh in motion (WIM), Wheel impact load detectors (WIL), Wheel measurement system (WMS), Security Management System, Tower control system, Asset Vehicle Inspection system.
• Document work performed by filling maintenance checklists for different equipment. Maintain an inventory of equipment, tools including consumables which should be updated regularly.
• Locating and proving the faults by evaluating test readings or results obtained in relations to nature of faults, design of units, purpose and function.
• Covering on-call duties whenever required for faults and rectification.
• Implementing Safe Systems of work In Railway which include taking possessions direct from Train Controller, working under Possession Supervisor, Lookout and Site Warden.
• Competent Railway Safety worker, very conversant, able to follow and ensure the Etihad Rail Rulebook, applicable Procedures and instructions are following.
• Maintain a high profile in the promotion of safe working conditions and practices so as to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and Contractors

• Review and adapt the Test Procedures to fit to the project needs.
• Prepare the method statements for the site activities.
• Participate, execute the site tests with Client.
• Deploy system/hardware/software changes/versions.
• Analyze / troubleshoot of issues and provide a first analysis.
• Create hardware issue report.
• Prepare / review the Test Reports.
• Ensure the implementation of safety procedures on site.
• Ensure the application of the internal process on the T&C activities.
• Manage the measurement tools.
• Provide proper Training to the maintenance team.

• Initial Budget preparation.

• Take-Over Project.

• Conduct meeting with customers at relevant stages.

• Conduct Site visit as necessary.

• Conduct Design Kick-off Meeting.

• Closure of Technical Queries.

• Preparation Project Deliver Plan.

• Preparation of Budget.

• Prepare PMR & CTC regularly and circulate for review.

• Ensure approval of BOM and other engineering documents before acceptance.

• Rise PR as per the procurement schedule and follow up for material supply.

Preparation of Invoice request.

• Follow up for payment with customer.

• Conduct closeout meeting on completion of contract scope. (Include lesson learnt, data analysis report & certificates from customer)

• Co-ordinate with purchase for supplier selection & finalization.

• Ensure validity of Delivery Period, Insurance & Performance Bank Guarantee.

• Ensure Submission of contractual documents to customer. (PBG, GPA, Indemnity bond & Insurance)

• Ensure relay room readiness before starting the Installation.

• Ensure the quality of installation & wiring as per OEM guidelines & RDSO Pre-Commissioning Checklist.

• Co-ordinate with Site Engineers & Technicians for site activities.

• Co-ordinate with Design and Verification Team.

• Co-ordinate with T&C for customer FAT, SAT and commissioning.

• Ensure submission of As made markup copy to design Team.

• Ensure submission of final documents.

• Co-ordinate with customers for getting for approvals of site works. (Materials transaction, Indoor and outdoor activities)

• Ensure on-Time submission of relevant Letters to customers. (Extension of DP, PBG, Insurance & Deputation letters to site staff)

• Ensure maintenance is carried out as pr the OEM recommendation & reports approved by customers

• Co-ordinate with OEM for FAT, Site Visit & OEM Certification.

• Access the competency of site Engineers & Technicians at defined frequency.

• Ensure non-confirming products identified separately, isolated & sent back to originators with remarks & identification.

• Cross verifies the stock register maintained by site engineer.

• Ensure DT for incoming as well as outgoing documents.

• Identification of System/Design requirements and architect.
• Timely delivery of Design Solution with Quality.
• Interact with the Customer/System Engineering/Project Management for all design related issues.
• Identification of Knowledge gap and arrange training for Team Members.
• Responsible for all Design Deliveries.
• Responsible for verification/ Testing and commissioning of station with quality
• Responsible for ISO process throughout all phases
• Responsible for meeting OEM/Customer requirements (SEM/OEM manuals) in all deliverables
• Approval authority of all design deliverables

• Achieving system acceptance with Tester in Charge.

• Reporting any errors.

• Ensuring all required documentation is completed, including Test certificates.

• Evidence and all assigned work instructions at the end of each shift.

• Engaging the supplier, internal and customer product reviews with emphasis on customer requirements and compliance.

• Lead the assigned dedicated work scope of Test and Commissioning.

• Conduct all required Test Procedure, Methodology & equipment testing activities in site related to project to obtain sign-off from Customer.

• To arrange all test equipment required for testing in coordination with site Manager & team leader.

• Mobilization of required test equipment arranged and made ready to commence testing in time.

• Coordinate and liaise with Customers on application of Permit-To-Work for testing activities for approved proceedings.

• Prepare and compile test report for submission to customer

• Prepare and draft Method Statement Risk Assessment.

• Supervise and monitor the site test activities at each specific T&C work.

• Provide support to team leaders and site engineers in all safety related requirement.

• Develops test plans and test procedures for Site Acceptance Test (SAT), Interface test (IFT) and System Integration Test (SIT).

• Plan scheduling and job allocation for activities (to coordinate with Planner)

• Participation in technical discussion and report preparation.

• Organizing training programs.

• Installation & wiring for Railway Signalling Systems.

• Report to Project Manager on the station of Installation & Wiring.

• To support Testing & Commissioning (T&C) team during T&C activities.

• Ensure Installation is done as per the Interface circuits and OEM manual.

• To prepare bell Test marked copy of Interface Circuits after installation, wiring & bell test and report to Design Engineer.

• To prepare As Built marked copy of Interface circuits after commissioning.

• Conduct Weekly, Monthly & Annual maintenance in Electronic Interlocking and sent report to Customers.

• Conduct preventive maintenance periodically to reduce the system failures.

• Attend the EI system failure and sent failure report to customers.
