Buffer Overflow Attack Labs (February 2022)

Obtained the skill of performing buffer overflow attack in a Linux-based environment using c language.

• Launched the attack on 32-bit and 64-bit programs.
• Learned how to defeat Linux countermeasures such as dash and address randomization.

Shellshock Attack Labs (March 2022)

Learned how to performed the Shellshock attack and launch it from a local machine.

• Passed data to bash via environment variable using the browser and curl.
• Launched the attack using a crafted URL and got the server to run arbitrary commands.
• Got a Reverse Shell using Shellshock Attack.
