Operational Tips
1. Organized Storage System
• Use bin locations/racks clearly labeled by size, grade, coating, and standard (ASTM, ISO, DIN, BS, etc.).
• Keep separate storage for black, zinc, HDG, and stainless steel fasteners.
2. Accurate Inventory Control
• Maintain a digital stock system (ERP/Excel) for real-time updates.
• Weekly cycle counts to avoid mismatch in stock.
• Always cross-check PO, DO, and MTC with physical material received.
3. Material Receiving & Inspection
• Verify quantity, size, grade, and coating thickness against supplier packing list.
• Coordinate with QC team for inspection before acceptance.
• Reject or tag non-conforming material immediately.
4. Dispatch & Packing
• Double-check customer PO before dispatch (size, grade, quantity).
• Coordinate with transport team to prevent damage during delivery.

Supervisory & Safety
1. Team Management
• Train warehouse staff in material identification (marking, grade, coating differences).
• Delegate tasks (receiving, issuing, stock entry) clearly.
2. Safety Practices
• Use PPE while handling heavy fasteners.
• Proper stacking & racking to avoid accidents.
• Forklift & lifting tools must be inspected regularly.
3. Continuous Improvement
• Monitor stock movement trends (fast-moving vs. slow-moving items).
