As an MEP Design Engineer, main activities include designing and coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for buildings, ensuring compliance with local codes, regulations, and standards. My primary responsibilities involve designing, planning, and managing MEP systems to ensure their efficient operation and functionality.

· Developing MEP system designs: Developing and designing MEP system plans and layouts for various building projects, using software such as AutoCAD and other design tools.

• Coordinating with other design teams: Coordinating with architects, structural engineers, and other design teams to ensure that MEP systems are correctly integrated into building designs.
• Reviewing project specifications and requirements: Reviewing project specifications and requirements to ensure that MEP system designs meet project requirements, codes, and regulations.
• Conducting feasibility studies: Conducting feasibility studies and assessing the impact of MEP systems on building design and construction.
• Preparing technical reports: Preparing technical reports, proposals, and design documents, such as equipment specifications, system layouts, and calculations.
• Performing cost estimation: Performing cost estimation and budget planning for MEP system designs, including materials, labour, and equipment costs.
• Conducting quality control inspections: Conducting quality control inspections and testing of MEP systems to ensure they meet design requirements and industry standards.
• Managing project schedules and timelines: Managing project schedules and timelines, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring project completion within deadlines.
• Maintaining communication with stakeholders: Maintaining regular communication with clients, project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project coordination.
